New models and preview showings slated for this fall at River Islands

- ADVERTORIAL PROVIDED BY RIVER ISLANDS

In a month full of activity, one of River Islands’ premier residential builders will hold a grand opening for a collection of new model homes in November, while another builder is offering new locations for two popular collections of home designs. The end result is an amazing array of choices for people drawn to the River Islands lifestyle. With these three new offerings, visitors can consider new neighborhoods at three different price ranges, starting from the low and mid-$400,000 ranges to the low $600,000 range.

Kiper Homes is following up the success of its 360 Lakeside community with a new enclave of homes on larger lots, called Lakeside. Four models are being built for the new

community, which will hold its grand opening on Nov. 17. Although the models will not be available for touring before then, visitors to the 360 Lakeside office can walk by the standing models and see the site map for the new location.

The Lakeside neighborhood offers two-story homes ranging in size from approximately 2,100 square feet to 2,500 square feet and three to five bedrooms. One of the designs includes a downstairs master suite.

The best-selling home designs at Summer House by Van Daele Homes are now available in a new location, around and near a lake. This collection of large and luxurious homes of up to approximately 4,000 square feet offers four to seven bedrooms. Called Summer House II, the new neighborhood is being sold through the

existing Summer House model complex. An allnew fourth plan is being introduced for this new location, and its blueprint and elevation artwork are available for viewing now.

As Van Daele’s Latitude neighborhood nears its closeout, a new neighborhood is being prepared for this attractive collection of smaller homes — from approximately 1,800 square feet to 2,500 square feet, with three to five bedrooms. The smallest model is also a single-story plan, which has proven to be popular with a wide range of homebuyers. These homes will be offered on larger lots than the original Latitude neighborhood.

Overall, River Islands now offers 30 different home designs in the nine neighborhoods that are currently offered for sale. Single-story homes and two-story homes suit a number of lifestyles, and some homes have builtin in-law suites.

River Islands has carefully selected its builders, bringing some of the Bay Area’s and Sacramento’s favorite brands to its Lathrop location. The result is a wide diversity of home designs and sizes.

In the last year, a number of neighborhood parks have opened, adding new areas for basketball, softball and picnics. In addition, six competition-size soccer fields are being readied for play for an elite regional soccer program. The first phase of a future 18-mile trail system is now open, and a baseball park is now under construction.

The popular Boathouse restaurant and the River Islands Technology Academy, built onsite for students K-8, are all part of the community’s appeal.

River Islands is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; for more information go to riverislands.com, or call the Welcome Center at 209-808-5168.
