Scott Gabriel Wilford

It is with great sadness that Eric and Mary Wilford have to announce the passing of their beloved son, Scott Gabriel Wilford, on November 29, 2018 in Chico, CA. He was 20 years old.

Scott was born on May 28, 1998 at Santa Clara Kaiser to Eric and Mary Wilford. He was raised in Sunnyvale. Scott graduated from Homestead High School in 2016 and was a junior at Chico State University majoring in Construction Management. Scott was active in scouting and achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in 2016.

Our dear beloved Scott was the happiest hanging out with friends. They meant the world to him. He loved golfing, bass-fishing, and driving his truck. He was a good mechanic and could fix almost anything on his truck. He was the “go-to” guy at school from changing a tire, fixing a fence, hanging a door, or giving rides to his friends. As a boy, Scott played soccer and baseball. He was a dedicated Green Bay Packers fan. Scott had a great smile and a witty sense of humor.

He is survived by his parents, Eric and Mary Wilford. He is further survived by Elaine Rankin, grandmother, and many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. We loved him with all our hearts. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Friends and family are invited to a “Celebration of Life” to be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at LIMA & CAMPAGNA SUNNYVALE MORTUARY at 1315 Hollenbeck Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA.
