It’s worth a limp

3-D printing is giving Scott Ritchie of Loveland, Colorado, a new lease on life. Ritchie, 52, was diagnosed with a rare form of bone cancer in 2018after noticing pain in his hip after fly-fishing. CBS4in Denver reported Dr. Ronald Hugate used a 3-D printer to make a titanium implant to replace bone that would need to be replaced. Two weeks later after surgery, he’swalking with crutches and is expected to walk on his own in a few weeks, although he might have a limp. “If I do have a limp, it’s better than nothing,” Ritchie said.
