Family planning restrains housing, child care costs

-

Re: “If you think housing’s pricey, try child care” (Page A1, Feb. 3):

There are many education programs that Planned Parenthood offers, which is just one of the reasons I support this fine organization. There are many family planning programs in the Bay Area too, thankfully.

The need for education and thoughtful family planning, especially as housing costs and child care costs rise in this valley, cannot be understated. Exhausted parents and caregivers deserve a better quality of life and one with less stress.

The innocent children brought into the world deserve parent(s) who can spend quality time with them, provide good food for them and ensure they get a good education.

Kudos to those who are lucky enough to draw from a number of resources in order to get by. I sure hope they also have a “Plan B” should something change.
