Geez, give Cardi B some time and space to enjoy her historic Grammy victory.

Cardi B on Sunday became the first woman to win the Grammy for best rap album but, through no fault of her own, the honor has stirred controversies.

First, Ariana Grande reacted to Cardi B’s win with a tweet that could have easily been construed as a personal insult to the rapper.

Grande tweeted the fbomb and “trash” after Cardi B’s debut album, “Invasion of Privacy,” was named best rap album, according to Page Six.

Grande has since deleted the tweet, as well as her follow-up apologies/ explanations, which went like this: “Nothing to do w her. good for her. i promise. i’m sorry.” “She’s not at all (trash) and that’s not what i meant and u know that.”

Grande was rooting for ex-boyfriend Mac Miller to win the award posthumously. Miller, who died from a reported “accidental overdose” in September, was represented at the awards show by his parents, Karen Meyer and Mark McCormick.

Grande, in response to another tweet, explained that she was hoping to see them accept the award on his behalf. “this. this is what i meant. karen was gonna have a green suit made,” she said.

Cardi B, who heard that Miller’s parents were fans of hers, paid tribute to Miller and his family. She tweeted a headline that read, “Mac Miller’s Family Is Rooting for Cardi B’ If He Doesn’t Win at the Grammys,” and completed it with the caption “WE WON A (expletive) GRAMMY.”

As for Cardi B’s rival Nicki Minaj, she has pulled out as a headliner for the BET Experience concert series and from its award show. In its since-deleted post about Cardi B’s victory, the BET account included a blurb that read, “Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj is being dragged by her lacefront,” according to Billboard.

Minaj and Cardi B got into a physical altercation during New York Fashion Week in September that involved flying shoes and resulted in a torn designer dress and a bump in the head for Cardi B.
