Lindsay Lohan’s mom drops her internet boyfriend
The wedding is off. Dina Lohan — you know, Lindsay’s, um, eccentric mom — and fiance-for-aminute Jesse Nadler have broken up, bringing to a close one of the greatest internet love stories of all time.
“It’s over,” Nadler told Page Six. “Broke it off.”
Lohan, 56, accepted Nadler’s proposal a few days ago, despite the fact that the two have never met face-toface. They have been conducting their five-year relationship over the internet and, true to form, Nadler proposed over Facebook.
But Nadler told Page Six that Lohan turned “moody” and that “their relationship went up and down” since he asked her to be his bride.
That tends to happen with spotty Wi-Fi connections.
So it’s over, and now Nadler and Lohan are free to surf the web and be catfished by completely new strangers.
Lohan first spoke about the unique relationship during her 2018 appearance on “Celebrity Big Brother.” She kept his identity a secret, but Nadler wasn’t shy about letting the world know that he was her online love.
Michael Lohan, Dina’s ex, was a little iffy on the relationship. “He never flew Dina out to meet him or flew to meet her, nor did he show up to meet her after ‘Celebrity Big Brother,’ ” Michael Lohan, 58, said to Page Six. “Then he proposed via social media, then he broke up with her. … Sounds like they’re off to a great start.”
He added, “Personally, I think he’s a wack job con man … Our children and I are totally against it!”
The former couple have four children together, including 32-year-old Lindsay.
Dina Lohan told Fox News, in fact, that she had her suspicions about Nadler.
“It’s always sad when a friendship is over but people have always run to the media about me and my family,” Lohan told Fox News. “I thought he was different until I had suspicions which he just proved to be justified.”
According to a report in TMZ, Nadler said that he broke up with Dina after they got into a blowout argument over a book he promoted on his Facebook, which Dina thought was about another woman. She flipped out on him, even though he denied it ... but it was too late.
