SAN JOSE >> A 17-year-old San Jose State student was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly made threats on social media and was caught on campus with a loaded handgun, ammunition and a knife.
A student at Homestead High in Cupertino saw the threats and reported them to school officials, who in turn contacted the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety, said Capt. Ava Fanucchi. Through an investigation, police identified the suspect as a student at SJSU.
