Hard-to-find 2-story homes under construction in Fremont’s Warm Springs

-

Robson Homes, a private Bay Area homebuilder known for their custom-level design, opened their newest community, Heirloom, last weekend. The enclave of 17 traditional-styled two-story homes and one restored historic home in Fremont’s

Warm Springs District attracted a large number of homebuyers and it’s no surprise why. It’s become quite rare in Silicon Valley to find new, traditional-style homes close to major employment centers and transit, but also within a peaceful residential setting.

Heirloom’s new homes are built along a single private street with no cross traffic, located off Ursa Drive, a treelined street in a quaint Warm Springs neighborhood. The setting is quiet and secluded, but Heirloom is still close to everything, including the Warm Springs

BART Station, Highway 237 and major South Bay employment centers. It’s less than a half-mile to Warm Springs Boulevard and its many amenities — a mile from Interstate 680 to the south, and less than 2 miles north to Interstate 880 — a perfect balance of easy access and peacefulness. Plus, the south Fremont location means you are close to San Jose, the airport, and shopping and employment hubs like Google.

“We wanted to create something special on this unique property,” said Mark Robson, president of Robson Homes.

“Heirloom is designed to be a classic neighborhood where neighbors know each other and kids play together.”

Two distinct homes flank the entrance to Heirloom — one is the model home, and the other is a historic,

single-story home associated with the original

property and under careful restoration by the homebuilder’s team. According to Robson, “The historic home

provided architectural inspiration for the new homes.”

The model home is the Darby, at over 2,700 square feet. It’s a twostory home with a two-car garage with full driveway, your own backyard, and the kitchen, family room, living room and garage

all on the same level. Also on the first level is a full bedroom and bathroom — perfect for guests, in-laws, or home office. Upstairs are the master suite and two additional bedrooms plus a generous laundry room.

Heirloom features two additional floor

plans featuring up to 3,000-plus square feet. Both offer twostory designs and four bedrooms, including a downstairs bedroom suite. Between the three floor plans and the numerous exterior styles, Heirloom feels like a street of custom homes.

Heirloom is now open weekends from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekdays by appointment. Prices are in the low $2 million range. Further details are available at www.RobsonHomes. com.
