Week’s concerts: Tame Impala, Hiromi, Third Eye Blind

Here’s a look at the top Bay Area concerts of the week, featuring a rock juggernaut and a dazzling pianist. Tame Impala: The phenomenal­ly successful psychedeli­c pop-rock outfit, led by Australian singer-songwriter-multi-instrument­alist Kevin Parker, returns in support of the newly released “The Slow Rush.” It’s Parker and company’s fourth album and their first release since “Currents.” Tame Impala, which headlined the massive Coachella music festival in Southern California in 2019, performs Friday at Chase Center in San Francisco. Leslie Odom Jr.: The Tony Award-winning performer, who originated the role of Aaron Burr in the Broadway smash “Hamilton,” brings his Stronger Magic Tour to August Hall in San Francisco tonight. So don’t miss Hiromi when she performs four solo piano shows, today through Sunday, at the SFJazz Center in San Francisco. This should be great. Details: 7:30 p.m. today hrough Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday; 0-$95; sfjazz.org. hird Eye Blind: The multi-platinumli­ng Bay Area band, best known for eponymous debut album and the gle “Semi-Charmed Life” from 1997, ys a big homecoming show at the Theater in Oakland on Friday. Dan Deacon: The Baltimore-based ctronic music artist supports the w album “Mystic Familiar” on Satay at the Fillmore in San Francisco. Schrader’s Music Beat is also on bill.
