River Islands makes Top 20 Communities List in USA
It’s official: RCL, one of the country’s most highly-regarded real estate consultant firms, has published its midyear list of bestselling master-planned communities in America. River Islands in Lathrop was named as one of its Top 20 Communities. It also positions River Islands as the most popular masterplanned community in all of Northern California. The success of River Islands is largely due to three main factors: a location close to the Bay Area, a wide selection of homes built by quality builders at prices that are attainable, and a dedication to providing lakes, parks, trails,
schools, and all of the amenities to support a growing, vibrant community. Current pricing at River Islands starts in the mid-$400,000 range, and a new neighborhood, Hideaway, will start preview sales this weekend with homes priced in the low $400,000 range. “Sales at River Islands have been extraordinarily strong, breaking all previous records,” says Susan Dell’Osso, president of River Islands Development. “As more people have discovered that they have the freedom to work from home, they have made the decision to move just beyond the core Bay Area for a lifestyle with more open space, more amenities and homes with plenty of space for office setups.” “The nature of a master-planned community is to be always changing, always moving ahead toward the fulfillment of its vision,” she continues. “This year, River Islands in Lathrop is unveiling some new additions in its new-home neighborhoods, the community at large and the active lifestyle the residents enjoy.” In June alone, homebuyers purchased more than 100 homes in the community, a number unmatched in the market.
