Bay Area museums have lots to see online

Most Bay Area museums and science centers are closed, but many are serving up a fascinatin­g collection of exhibits, activities, movies and more. Here are just a few of your options.

OAKLAND MUSEUM OF CALIFORNIA >> The museum recently released online a vast trove of legendary photograph­er Dorothea Lange’s archives. AND PACIFIC FILM ARCHIVE >> The museum and film center offers a wealth of virtual exhibits and streaming films, including such current indie film releases as Romana S. Diaz’s documentar­y on acclaimed Philippine­s journalist Maria Ressa, “A Thousand Cuts”; bampfa.org.
