Republican Party must split from extremists
The Republican Party needs to give serious consideration to splitting off from the kooks and religious and social fanatics who care more about their own ideologies than they do democracy.
Democracy is superior to the ideologies of either left or right.
It matters little which faction keeps the “Republican” designation, but our country needs a responsible conservative party free of seditionists and liars, a party that will work cooperatively with Democrats to build a better nation.
This will be difficult because at first, it will seem to split the conservative vote, but it is necessary.
Many of us find ourselves today to be social liberals and fiscal conservatives, and we have no party. Now is the time to act.
