TV tips: ‘Younger,’ ‘Van Helsing,’ John Stamos

Here are three series and a romance movie TV viewers should know about.

“Younger”: In the seventh and final season of the comedy-drama, Liza’s (Sutton Foster) personal life is on shaky ground as she tries to stay true to herself. Meanwhile, after a setback at work, Kelsey (Hilary Duff) doubts her career decisions and discovers a new creative outlet, and Maggie (Debi Mazar) gets canceled. Details: Available today; Paramount+.

“Van Helsing”: The fifth and final season of the fantasy drama finds vampire hunters Vanessa, Violet and Jack risking everything to finally bring an end to the Dark One once and for all. But, of course, we expect numerous obstacles along the way. Details: 10 p.m. Friday; Syfy.

“Big Shot”: John Stamos returns to series television in this comedy-drama, in which he plays a temperamen­tal men’s basketball coach who, after getting bounced by the NCAA, gets a chance for redemption at an elite girls private school. Will he still have game? Details: Available Friday; Disney+.

“Right in Front of Me”: In this feel-good TV film, a woman (Janel Parrish) has a second shot at romance with her college crush but is unable to impress him until her new friend Nick (Marco Grazzini) starts giving her advice. Soon she learns who the right man for her really is. Details: 9 p.m. Saturday; Hallmark Channel.
