Sixty fun facts about 30 teams at the All-Star break: NATIONAL LEAGUE WEST

San Francisco (57-32): Reliever Jake McGee, who had an 0.839 WHIP for the Dodgers last year, has a 0.881 WHIP with 19 saves for the Giants this season.

Shortstop Brandon Crawford has a .921 OPS. His previous high for a full season is .782 in 2015.

Los Angeles (56-35): Their bullpen WHIP (walks, hits per innings pitched) is 1.25. It was 1.04 last season.

Despite Cody Bellinger’s .593 OPS and Corey Seager’s injury, L.A. is still the only National League team averaging five runs per game.

San Diego (53-40): In 40 games, Austin Adams has given up 14 hits and hit 14 batters.

Fernando Tatis Jr. leads the National League in stolen bases and home runs. Chuck Klein, in 1932, was the last to do that for a season.

Colorado (40-51): The Rockies lead the league with three complete games. They’ve never led that category for a full season.

The Rockies rank ninth in the league in slugging percentage. That would tie their alltime low.

Arizona (26-66): Its relievers have nine saves in 35 opportunit­ies and have allowed 59 home runs, and the Diamondbac­ks are 3-20 in one-run games.

Arizona won 14 games in April, and has won 12 since. AMERICAN LEAGUE WEST

Oakland (52-40): The A’s have lost 10 games in which a pitcher has produced a quality start.

Matt Olson, who hit .195 during the pandemic-shortened 2020 season, is hitting .282 now with a 200-point jump in OPS.

Houston (55-36): Houston has 37 errors, the fewest in the American League, and leads the league in runs per game, batting average, on-base percentage and OPS.

Yuli Gurriel is one of three qualified hitters in the league with more walks than strikeouts (Carlos Santana, Yandy Diaz).

Seattle (48-43): Reliever Paul Sewald hasn’t allowed a home run in 25 appearance­s.

The Mariners are 19-8 in one-run games and 10-1 in extra-inning games.

L.A. Angels (45-44): For the third consecutiv­e year the Angels are giving up more than five runs per game. Prior to this streak, they hadn’t allowed more than five runs per game since 2000.

Two-thirds of Shohei Ohtani’s hits go for extra bases.

Texas (35-55): Adolis Garcia came into 2021 with 34 MLB at-bats at age 28. He has 22 home runs and 62 RBIs.

The Rangers have scored one run or less in one-fifth of their games.

NATIONAL LEAGUE CENTRAL

Milwaukee (53-39): The Brewers are batting a leaguelow .220 with a league-high 891 strikeouts and still lead the division.

Brandon Woodruff, Corbin Burnes and Freddy Peralta have combined for 33 quality starts.

Cincinnati (48-42): Rookie Jonathan India hit .220 in May, but is hitting .364 in July.

The Reds are 20-12 against Chicago, St. Louis and Milwaukee.

Chicago (44-46): Relievers Craig Kimbrel, Ryan Tepera and Andrew Chafin have pitched 108 innings and allowed just 48 hits.

The Cubs led the NL in drawing walks in 2015 and 2016 and were third last season, but they’re ninth this year.

St. Louis (44-46): Alex Reyes is 20 for 20 in save opportunit­ies.

Shortstop Paul DeJong had 25 home runs and hit .285 as a rookie in 2017. His slide continues with a .185 average and 12 home runs at the break.

Pittsburgh (34-56): Second baseman Adam Frazier is second in the league in batting average (.330), first in hits (115) and has struck out just 42 times in 388 plate appearance­s.

The bullpen ranks third in save percentage but has had only 18 opportunit­ies. AMERICAN LEAGUE CENTRAL

Chicago (54-35): Yasmani Grandal is hitting .188 but has a .388 on-base percentage with a club-high .824 OPS.

Injuries limited Carlos Rodon to 11 games in 2019-20, but he’s 7-3 and ranks second in the AL in batting average-against and WHIP.

Cleveland (45-42): In nine years, Jose Ramirez has driven in 489 runs with an OPS of .850 and has never struck out 100 times in a season.

This would be the Indians’ 10th consecutiv­e winning season.

Detroit (40-51): Former No. 1 overall draft pick Casey Mize is 5-5 with an excellent 1.143 WHIP.

Akil Baddoo, whom the Tigers took from Minnesota in the Rule 5 draft, has an .813 OPS as a rookie.

Minnesota (39-50): Longtouted outfielder Byron Buxton has an OPS of 1.167 and a batting average of .369 but has played only 27 games.

Kenta Maeda led the AL with a 0.750 WHIP last season, but it has grown to 1.404 in 2021.

Kansas City (36-53): Brad Keller has the worst WHIP (1.758) and ERA (5.97) of any qualified AL starter.

Catcher Salvador Perez has played in all 89 games and, at 31, already has his fifth 20-homer season.

NATIONAL LEAGUE EAST

New York (47-40): Opponents are hitting .126 against Jacob deGrom, and he is hitting .364.

The Mets made a winter splash when they got shortstop Francisco Lindor, but his OPS (.702) and batting average (.227) are career lows.

Philadelph­ia (44-44): Former Angels prospect Jean Segura is hitting a career-high .322 in his third Phillies’ season.

A chronicall­y bad bullpen has blown 22 of 42 save opportunit­ies.

Atlanta (44-45): At 37, Charlie Morton leads Atlanta’s healthy pitchers with a 1.101 WHIP and is 8-3.

Ozzie Albies, the 5-foot-8 second baseman, is slugging .500 and has made nine errors in his last 274 games.

Washington (42-47): Kyle Schwarber has 25 home runs and has hit one every 10.6 atbats, second to Tatis in the NL.

Max Scherzer has a 0.878 WHIP and is on track to finish below 1.000 for the sixth time in his career.

Miami (39-50): Adam Duvall, who left the Braves for free agency, leads the league with 62 RBIs.

Former Dodgers Yimi Garcia and Dylan Floro have combined for 75 relief appearance­s, with 13 saves for Garcia and no home runs against Floro in 36 innings.

AMERICAN LEAGUE EAST

Boston (55-36): Garrett Whitlock, a Rule 5 draft pick from the Yankees, has a 1.44 ERA in 26 games for Boston’s improved bullpen.

The Sox are 6-0 against the Yankees and 22-10 against the AL East.

Tampa Bay (53-37): Since Opening Day of 2018, the Rays are 88 games over .500.

Catcher Mike Zunino has 19 home runs among his 37 total hits.

Toronto (45-42): Vladimir Guerrero Jr. hit his 50th home run in his 258th career game, which is exactly what his father did in Montreal.

Robbie Ray comes into the All-Star break with four consecutiv­e quality starts, a 7-4 record overall and a career-best 1.053 WHIP.

New York (46-43): Gleyber Torres had 38 home runs in 2019 but has just six since. His OPS has dropped 137 points in those two years.

The Yankees have 16 sacrifice flies, six sacrifice bunts and 111 doubles in 89 games.

Baltimore (28-61): The Orioles have quality starts in only 17 percent of their games and have lost by five or more runs 23 times.

In his first starting role, Cedric Mullins leads the league with 106 hits and has 16 home runs with 16 stolen bases.
