Mill District brings luxury living to downtown Healdsburg

- Content provided by Replay Healdsburg

Healdsburg lies at the confluence of four great Sonoma County wine regions: Alexander Valley, known for vibrant cabernets; Dry Creek Valley, home to top-notch zinfandels and sauvignon blancs; Chalk Hill, with sunny slopes of cabernet and merlot; and cool foggy Russian River Valley, land of pinot noir and chardonnay.

Like the wine regions surrounding it, the town of Healdsburg is richly diverse. Ranked as one of the top small towns in the United States, Healdsburg boasts upscale grocers, Michelin star restaurants, tasting rooms, art galleries, studios, culinary institutions, museums, coffee shops and more. Surrounded by rolling hills and within close proximity to Lake Sonoma and the California coastline, Healdsburg is also globally recognized as a world-class cycling destination. This enchanting town offers an experience of excellence without exclusion.

What will perhaps be Healdsburg’s best attraction yet has just broken ground.

Mill District, a new luxury neighborhood, will occupy the former site of a local mill that was once known for the transformation of redwood, cedar and pine trees into the finest grained lumber and wood products. In celebration of its milling history and industrial heritage, the project will incorporate strong, clean lines through the use of wood, steel, stone and glass, in addition to blending both organic and modernist styles into the architecture.

Situated within a preserved grove of 15 heritage redwood trees and connected by cobbled walkways, the project will accommodate luxury residences, a boutique hotel, pool and wellness center, shops and a restaurant.

Canopy, the first collection of residences available at Mill District, will feature innovative design by Architectural Digest Top 100 architect Olson Kundig. These initial 39 residences will range from studio to threebedroom homes and will include five penthouses, the first-of-itskind in Wine Country.

Designed with entertaining in mind, each home will feature sliding glass panels that frame surrounding hills and the historic downtown Healdsburg. With outdoor living at the forefront of our minds today, Olson Kundig will focus on the inside and outside flowing harmoniously together through the use of open spaces and indoor and outdoor chef-grade kitchens. The premium finishes throughout will fuse contemporary luxury with a warm, inviting ambience and offer state-of-the-art Miele appliances that prioritize innovation and sustainability as well as a wine room — making for an unparalleled at-home entertaining and culinary experience.

With this innovative community placed just at the main approach to Healdsburg, Mill District will undoubtedly be known as the monumental gateway for this irresistible town. The first 39 residencies are now available for purchase with prices starting from $900,000. Exclusive sales and marketing for the project will be handled by Sotheby’s International Realty.
