Back home? Here’s where to get tested
With cases rising and travelers returning, appointments are strongly encouraged
Whether you’re coming off of a plane or driving back over one of the Bay Area bridges, there’s a chance you’ve been surrounded by your family members this holiday season and it is probably a good idea to get a virus test.
The following is a list of testing sites in Bay Area counties. All sites listed are free and appointments are strongly encouraged as demand is bound to increase as holiday travelers head back home and cases continue to rise across the region.
San Mateo County
Today
• Burlingame Intermediate School, 1715 Quesada Way, 1 to 6:30 p.m.
• Central Middle School, 757 Cedar St., San Carlos, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Appointments are strongly encouraged.

Santa Clara County

Contra Costa County
Appointments are required. As of Dec. 26, the county has no available appointments until Wednesday.
However, multiple state testing sites are open today
in Antioch, Brentwood, Pleasant Hill and San Pablo. Call 833-829-2626 to make an appointment.
Boosters: The county has appointments starting Tuesday, but appointments are filling up fast.
Marin County

Boosters: The county has compiled a long list of locations with appointments open today and at various pharmacies and Safeways in the city.
Pharmacies and Kaiser
Walgreens is offering free drive-thru testing throughout the Bay Area, but appointments are filling up fast. CVS is also offering free testing. Both pharmacies also offer boosters. Kaiser Permanente is also offering boosters to both members and nonmembers.
