Well known as a must-see, must-do Silicon Valley experience, The Tech Interactive last year introduced even more new activities, workshops, films and hands-on exhibits. It’s all happening alongside a suite of science and technology experiences that make The Tech a Silicon Valley destination.

Want to design and create colorful algae string using biological building blocks from seaweed? How about taking a climb in the Cascade Innovation Lab to invent a device that you program to deliver balls onto platforms of varying heights? Perhaps science and robotics team projects are more your thing.

Whatever the visitor desires, The Tech Innovative has plenty of offerings for piquing people’s curiosity and understanding of technology and science. Hands-on activities, experimental labs and design challenge experiences empower innovation with creativity, curiosity and compassion.

Since opening in 1998, The Tech Interactive’s ongoing popularity comes not only from Silicon Valley’s interest in tech, but from constant innovation within the museum itself; continually changing exhibitions, attractions and hands-on events help visitors understand their world now and in the future.

New in 2022, the Solve for Earth exhibit features a space for community discussions about how to live sustainably and reduce the impacts of climate change. There, people can connect with scientists and innovators to guide them in developing their own plans for a sustainable future.

Education sits at the heart of The Tech, which offers immersive experiences on field trips for families and schools, plus an in-house professional development program.
