This week Nissan sent me a 2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum Edition AWD SUV with a base window sticker price of $38,640. The options on the test SUV are: the premium paint for $395, the external ground lighting package for $620, the floor mats and cargo area floor protectors for $425, the illuminated kick plates for $400, the interior accent lighting package for $350, the frameless rear view mirror with universal remotes for $400, and the Platinum Premium package for $620.
The MSRP manufactures suggested retail price, including the $1,295 destination charge is: $43,145. After adding in the state and local sales tax, plus the DMV and dealers fees, the drive off the dealers lot and into your garage total purchase price came to: $48,538.
As the average automotive sales transaction price today is at $48,000, this 2023 Nissan Rogue Platinum Edition is a premium grade SUV priced within everybody’s budget.

As Nissan’s luxury car division, Infiniti, usually has more opulent interiors, Nissan made sure the Rogue Platinum Edition doesn’t feel any less premium.
