“Hadestown,” “Mean Girls” and “Ain't Too Proud — the Life and Times of the Temptations” are among the blockbuster offerings to be found in Broadway San Jose's 2023-24 season lineup.

The wonderfully electric and eclectic bill, which was announced Tuesday, also features such smashes as “Mamma Mia!” and “Disney's Frozen.” People can also witness the high-flying new production of “Peter Pan.”

Broadway San Jose is also offering some tempting addons in the mix, including two of the most beloved musicals of all time — “Les Miserables” and “Chicago.” And a November-December run with the Broadway sensation “Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The Musical” should help make for a fun holiday season.

“There's no better time for the whole family to experience the joy and excitement of live theater,” says Gretchen Feyer, Broadway San Jose general manager. “Broadway San Jose's 202324 season features beloved stories, larger-than-life characters, and music that moves the soul.”

Season subscriptions are on sale now at broadwaysanjose.com or by calling (866) 395-2929. Prices run $242-$695 for the basic sixshow package. There is an interest-free four payment plan that starts at $60.50 per month. Tickets for individual shows go on sale at a later date.
