It's a list topped by Morocco's 2,800-year-old walledcity of Fez, which is known for its twisting, mazelike streets and grand tiled gates. It's also home to the University
of Al-Karaouine, which was founded by a woman, Fatima al-Fihri, in 859. (Oxford is a youngster by comparison.)
Food lovers won't be surprised to see Rome at the top of that global list, with Hanoi, Paris and Barcelona scoring deliciously high, too.
