Randy is quick to point out that R&J’s services extend far above and beyond basic lawn and garden maintenance. While some people may associate the term landscaping with basic mow-and-blow service, R&J does a great deal more than that.
“With us, it’s planning, design, construction and installation of entire landscape and hardscape projects,” he says. This includes choosing the right kinds of plant life that will thrive in a particular area as well as irrigation, structures and firebreaks for defensible space.
“We do anything that’s incidental to landscaping and hardscape design for residential and commercial clients,” says Randy. “We will install front and rear storm doors as part of a project. We’ve done hardscapes and xeriscapes as well as completely covered porches, the installation of outdoor heating systems and construction of planter walls that double as seating walls.”
By committing to provide the best and most comprehensive services that community members expect, Randy innovates on a regular basis, including adding new technology and equipment to accommodate clean-air requirements. “We just made our first bulk purchase of $50 thousand in new equipment and we’re working on outfitting all the trucks so that the teams can charge and maintain battery power they need for their jobs,” says Randy.
