Best Pet Boarding, Best Dog Trainer D for Dogz

-

Kaajal Tiwary loves puppies. She is dedicated to getting new puppy guardians off on the right paw and guiding her students through the challenging early days of owning a dog. What is her goal? It is about transforming each bundle of raw puppy energy into the perfect adult companion. She loves working with puppies but feels a special connection with fearful, anxious, nervous dogs who believe that the world is “unsafe” and resort to aggression to communicate, and she specializes in working with them.

Kaajal understands a well-adjusted dog is a combination of proper care, training, socialization, and attention to the dog’s physical and emotional needs. In addition to staying current with the latest advancements in Applied Behavior Analysis, she actively expands her knowledge in fields like canine nutrition, anatomy & physiology, and pain assessment, all to better understand and assist dogs. Kaajal assists private clients with behavior modification, often collaborating with veterinarians and veterinary behaviorists.

Kaajal is a big believer in continuing education. She frequently attends workshops, conferences and seminars to hone her knowledge and skill set to bring the latest scientific understanding of dog behavior and training to her work. Dedicated to fostering strong bonds between people and their dogs, she employs gentle yet effective and time-efficient training methods, ensuring the best possible experience for her clients. This sets them up for a lifetime of good behavior for their people. When you work with her, you look at the dog as A WHOLE BEING!

Based in South San Jose, D For Dogz offers simple, effective, and practical puppy and dog training solutions via Board & Train, Day School, Private Training, and Public Manners Group Classes.

Kaajal embodies the sentiment “If you’re lucky… a dog will come into your life, steal your heart and change everything!” Kaajal found her inspiration in Diesel, a pit bull puppy entrusted to her care at just five days old. Diesel wasn’t just a pet; he became her mentor, overcoming his anxieties about the world, leash reactivity, and sound sensitivity. Through their journey together, Diesel opened doors for Kaajal, introducing her to the fascinating realms of Nose Work, Freestyle training, canine nutrition, pain assessment, and even dog anatomy & physiology.

Diesel’s legacy lives on through Diesel’s FootPrint, a non-profit that will support families with their pets’ medical needs.
