Happy Hollow Park & Zoo

As part of the City of San José’s Parks, Recreation and Neighborhood Services department, Happy Hollow offers educational programs for nature and animal lovers of all ages - toddlers to seniors. And Happy Hollow doesn’t just talk the talk, they walk the walk. Conservation and sustainability are at the heart of all programs, exhibits, activities and operations, including LEED-certified buildings, conservation grant programs, and sourcing of sustainable seafood and produce for the animals to eat. Even the on-site restaurant, The Picnic Basket, focuses on quality, quick-service and environmentally friendly food choices that are locally and sustainably sourced and antibiotic-free.
