Mildred Irene (Wadsworth) Hindle, 92, wife of the late of Russel J. Hindle of Royersford, formally of Spring City, died Friday in Parkhouse Providence Pointe.

Mildred was born in Phoenixvil­le, PA, a daughter to the late John H. and Eva (Corbett) Wadsworth. Mildred lived most of her life in Spring City. She was employed in the Canteen at the former Pennhurst State School, Diamond Glass Company and various nursing homes in the area.

Mildred was a homemaker and loved being with her grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren. She was very devoted to her daughter, son-in-law and siblings.

Millie enjoyed driving her Volkswagen bug, taking her grandchild­ren for ice cream and spending time with her family and friends.

Millie is survived by her daughter, Joyce, wife of Anthony Yacovelli of North Coventry; three grandchild­ren, Mark Yacovelli, husband of Sharon, Terri Yacovelli, wife of Jim De Andrade, and Steven Yacovelli, partner of Richard Egan, and great-grandchild­ren, Seren Erb, Jonathan Yacovelli, Riley Erb and Nicole Yacovelli. Also surviving are her sisters, Janet Long and Florence Cabot, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predecease­d by her son, Russel J. Hindle Jr. (3 months old), her sisters, Dorothy Root and Evelyn Seeds-Fetter and brothers, Kenneth Wadsworth and Jack Wadsworth.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her memorial service on Friday, June 21, 2013 at 1 p.m. at the Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets, Spring City, PA. The Rev. Erick Kern will officiate. Burial to follow in the Fernwood Cemetery Royersford. Visitation will be held Friday afternoon in the funeral home from 12 to 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in her memory to the First United Church of Christ, 45 Chestnut Street, Spring City, PA 19475.
