Royersford: Come to Upper Schuylkill Valley Park, Route 113, at 10a.m. on Saturday, March 12, weather permitting, to meet that cute, lovable creature known as the rabbit. Children will learn about wild rabbits as well as visit their domesticat­ed relatives that live at the park. A craft to make and take home will be included. Phoenixvil­le: The Phoenixvil­le High School Marching Band is hosting their 2nd annual Mattress Sale Fundraiser on Sunday, March 13, from 10a.m. to 5p.m. in the high school gym, 1200Gay St. This is an opportunit­y to buy the same brand-new, name-brand mattresses that are found in stores, but at lower prices and as much as $200per mattress can go to the Phoenixvil­le Phantom Marching Band. The band is hoping to raise money to purchase muchneeded rain parkas. There will be 22differen­t mattress sets to choose from, available in all sizes, including twin, twin XL, full, fullXL, queen, king, California-king and even custom sizes. Customers can lie on and try out every set. Styles include plush sets, pillow-top sets, latex, memory foam, gel beds, and dual-feel beds, and power adjustable lifestyle bases. These are award-winning beds (Consumer’s Digest Best Buy, and “Women’s Choice” award). The mattresses are brand new and name brand with full factory warranties, and all will be priced up to 50percent below retail prices. Bed frames, pillows and mattress protectors will also be available. Delivery is available. All forms of payment will be accepted.
