Take a look at what friends and neighbors are saying about local hot topics and join in on the conversation.

I’d like to know what these schools are teaching the kids in math class. I went to the store. I was supposed to get $1.37 in change. I got $1.05 so I mentioned it to the cashier. She went in the drawer and gave me 27 cents. She should have given me 32 cents. They don’t even know how to add unless they have a calculator in hand. I don’t know what we’re paying these teachers big salaries for if they can’t teach the kids anything anymore.

A few weeks ago, Hillary Clinton spoke with a women’s group and she mentioned that it would be wonderful if we had more women in politics. Can you imagine what it would be like if we had Elizabeth Warren, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton and even Michelle Obama? Wouldn’t it be wonderful if we had those people running the country? Ha.

Can the genius who put a stop sign up at Rosedale and Beech streets, please take it down? All it does is cause huge amounts of traffic congestion. The idea is to keep things simple here in Pottstown. That means you want to move the traffic along OK? So let’s get that out of there please.

This is for the person who says Obama’s running around like to Hawaii, I hate to tell you but he’s a private citizen now. He can go anywhere he wants and we’re not paying for it either. So good try but no cigar.

I read all the time in Sound Off the complaints people have about the mail delivery. We are so grateful here in Sanatoga that we have Mike. He delivers our mail every day regularly, rain or shine or anything else. I think it’s so wonderful that we have a

mailman like this and I want to really point it out to everybody that he is the greatest.

I’m calling in regards to the old Woolworth store in town here. Wouldn’t it be really awesome for somebody to take over that store and make it a Five and Dime like it used to be including having a fountain in there? That would be a part of Pottstown brought back and it’s very possible if the Borough of Pottstown gets off its greedy high horse.

To anyone who is against legalizing marijuana, the drug companies are our biggest drug dealers. They are bragging about their profits while we are burying our children. Now we have a new generation being born addicted. Marijuana is less harmful than alcohol.

Why not create jobs, revenue and unclog court systems? Makes too much sense maybe?

Lady Di

To the person or persons stealing decorations off of grave stones at Mount Zions Cemetery on Route 724, you do not deserve to be buried in a cemetery when you die.

I’m just wondering if there’s anybody in West Pottsgrove who can tell me when we are going to do something about all of the junk cars, trucks and vans that are sitting around by the Stowe Post Office? This seems to be a fact that West Pottsgrove is becoming more and more of a junk yard. I believe we have an ordinance but I guess it’s just something that has to happen.

Sean Spicer and Kellyanne Conway must go through a lot of shovels.

There’s a lot to clean up. Maybe they should get a front end loader.

Susan from Pottstown, you’re so right. I’m getting sick of reading Sound Off with all the negative stuff in there. It’s not what I bought this paper for. Every time I see this Jay Miller comment on something it’s always negative. Doesn’t anybody have anything positive to say? Maybe that will lift this black cloud over this town.

This goes out to the person who commented “What a surprise, what a coincidence.” Barack Obama is free to go anywhere he and his family want to from now on. God bless him for having to deal with unintelligent people for the past eight years. Happy retirement Barack.

Sergeant Ed, please contact Rep. Ryan Costello’s office at 610-696-2982 as he will not only call the

Pottstown Post Office, he will be in contact with the post office district office to put some heat on the postmistress. She is not going to do anything without any heat from above.

This is a sweet shoutout to Sgt. Gold in the Phoenixville Police Department. I lost some keys in the area of Reese Park and I guess they were handed in and they did their thing and got those keys back to me. I really appreciate it. So to them a tip of the hat.
