Maria J. Bull, 88, of Spring City

Maria J. Bull, beloved wife of William “Bill” Bull 88, died Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at home.

She was born in Phoenixville to the late Luther and the late Eleanor (Kopple) Shetler.

Maria was a 1946 graduate of The Spring City High School and graduated Susquehanna University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree. She then worked as a statistician for Wyeth Pharmaceutical Company. She worked for the Republican Committee in the Second Ward of Spring City.

She was a life member of Zion Lutheran Church, and enjoyed painting, traveling, and camping.

In addition to her husband, Maria is survived by her daughter, Ann M. O’Malley, wife of David, and two grandchildren, Ryan and Eric O’Malley. She is predeceased by her son, Mark S. Bull.

Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral service at Zion Lutheran Church, 39 Bonnie Brae Road, Spring City, PA 19475 with The Reverend Paul Townsend officiating, on Saturday, April 1, 2017, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held on Saturday, at the church from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at The Zion Lutheran Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Zion Lutheran Church, 39 Bonnie Brae Road, Spring City, PA 19475.
