For the people that are raving about Obamacare, if your premiums for husband and wife went from $700 to $1,400 a month, I think you’d be complaining about it too. I think we need something to change. People can’t afford $1,400 a month just for health care when they had it for $700 before.

This is for the 70-some people who rallied in Phoenixville in support of the refugees and illegal immigrants. I think something should be published about the fact that there were literally thousands of people who do not want those illegal immigrants and refugees who were not in attendance. Seventy, 80 or 100 people don’t represent the majority.

I’ve seen people doing this already so let me send out the warning. At 70 degrees on a sunny day it becomes 104 degrees in a car in a half an hour. In an hour it reaches 113 degrees. When temperatures outside are between 80 and 100, the temperature inside a car can reach between 130 and 172. Think about that before you leave your pets in the car.

Regarding the puppies in grocery carts I never saw that happen but I have seen many young children in the carts and that bothers me because they have shoes on, dirty clothes and then I have to put my groceries in there. I think that’s wrong. I think the stores need to see that this does not happen or be allowed. Sometimes you feel like when you get home you want to just wash some of the food that you had put in that basket.

A person called in that it was Armand Hammer Boulevard before it became Firestone Boulevard. I really appreciate the call but it was Firestone Boulevard before it was named Armand Hammer Boulevard which it currently is. I worked at Firestone for many years back in the 80s and it was named something else before Firestone Boulevard. I’ve checked every resource and I can’t find out what it was. Just interested. The borough must be in desperate need of money changing the speed limit on Industrial Highway from 40 to 25 mph. What part of “highway” do they not understand? Industrial “Highway.”

I noticed they reduced the speed limit on Industrial Highway. People don’t pay attention and I’m trying to do the speed limit and people are riding my bumper. They could’ve put some signage out there or something to let folks know that there’s a new speed limit on that road. Everybody’s so busy these days texting and not paying attention to driving anyway so they’re not going to notice these new speed limit signs. That’s just dumb.

Gorsuch should hang his head in shame for the way he slid it into the Supreme Court. He’s like a kid that got a participation trophy.

This comment is for Hawaiian Punch Party. His comment in Sunday’s Sound Off that Donald Trump is beholden to Putin and will do nothing about the Syrian crisis has been put to rest. Trump crossed that red line that Obama drew in the sand. It just goes to show that Mr. Hawaiian Punch and Jay Miller know nothing about the Trump administration or what he will do.

The pharmacist asked me my birthday again today. I think she’s planning on getting me a gift. Jim Fitch

My problem is American people believing that Social Security is going to “run out.” The government has nothing to do with Social Security except to spend it which they shouldn’t do since it belongs to us the American people who pay Social Security as soon as you start working. It belongs to us, not them, they contribute nothing. Miss C., Phoenixville

This is to The Professor who said Donald Trump is going to be the best president ever. What has he done to make you say that? I’m starting to question your credentials Professor. Jay Miller

Oh yeah it’s motorcycle season again and you’ll be demanding respect on the road. I see you doing stunts on Route 422 and fly by my house in a 35 mph speed zone. I can hear you coming a half mile away. So start abiding by the laws and I will start respecting you.

I wish somebody would tell Vanna White what she has to wear on the shows. Some of her outfits do nothing for her. They’re ridiculous.

Trump makes a suggestion for health care that the seniors, being as they use most of the health care, should pay more than anyone else. I agree with that on one condition that the elderly people who have no kids in school should not have to pay for the kids of the younger generations. Let them pay for their own.
