Good Shepherd UCC
Boyertown: Devin Spence Memorial Fund Holy Saturday Breakfast will be held today at Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 35 W. Philadelphia Ave. Tickets are $9 for adults, $6 for children 3 to 10 and senior citizens, free for children 2 and under. Pictures with the Easter Bunny. Tickets available at the church office and at the door. There will be a community-wide Easter Egg Hunt at 11 a.m. today for youth up to 6th grade (indoors in the event of inclement weather). All are welcome. Easter Sunday services will be held at 7:45 and 10:20 a.m. A Covered Dish Breakfast will be held at 9 a.m.
Jerusalem Lutheran
Schwenksville: Easter Sunrise Service for Jerusalem Evangelicalism Lutheran Church, 311 Second St., will be held at 7 a.m. at Otts Exotic Plants/Greenhouse, 861 Gravel Pike. It is outside by the “mountain,” and the tunnel replicates the tomb. Refreshments will be served after the service.
Bethel UMC
Spring City: A Community Easter Festival and Egg Hunt will be held at 10 a.m. today at Bethel United Methodist Church, 952 Bethel Church Road in the Fellowship Hall. A Community Easter Sunrise Service will take place at 7 a.m.; light breakfast to follow. Easter Services also at 8:30and 10:45 a.m. Two guests, Bradley Keith Richards and Susan McDevitt, will be providing musical selections for the 10:45 a.m. service. Richards is the director of orchestral studies and is music department chair at Reading High School, where he directs the string orchestra, symphonic orchestra and chamber orchestra. McDevitt teaches violin and piano in her private studio, and is the private music teacher at Immaculate Conception Academy in Douglassville. Pottstown: On Easter Sunday First Presbyterian Church will be holding an Easter Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. in the Peace Garden followed by an Easter Breakfast at 7 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. The Resurrection will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m., or 10:30 a.m. when the Cherub Choir and Celtic Singers will be singing. The annual Easter Egg Scramble will be held outside at 11:45 a.m.
Centennial Lutheran
Kimberton: On Easter Sunday there will be two worship services at 9 and 11 a.m. at Centennial Lutheran Church, 1330 Hares Hill Road. Special music including a brass quartet and timpani will be presented beginning at 8:45 and 10:45 a.m. prior to the worship services. All are welcome to an Easter breakfast from 7a.m. to noon.
Christ Lutheran
Barto: The Worship and Music committee at Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road, invites anyone to help decorate at 10:30 a.m. today in preparation for Easter. The Easter Sunrise service begins at 6:30a.m. in the cemetery and then at 10:15a.m. is the Easter Festival service with Holy Communion at both services.
St. Luke’s Lutheran
Obelisk: Easter Services will be held at 7 and 10:15 a.m. at St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Route 73 and Neiffer Road. Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. and an Easter Egg Hunt will be held during the Sunday School hour at 9 a.m. A free Community Dinner will be held in the Fellowship Hall from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
Emmanuel Lutheran
Pottstown: The monthly Family Fun and Activity evening with movies and games will be held at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 150 N. Hanover St. All are welcome.
St. James Lutheran
Limerick: Members of St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Road, will meet at 9:30 a.m. today to pack and deliver breakfasts to those in need in the community as part of “Operation Easter Breakfast.” On Easter Sunday contemporary worship will be held at 7:30 and 9 a.m. Traditional worship will start at 10:45 a.m. An Easter Egg Hunt will be held after the 9 a.m. service.
Calvary UCC
Barto: The annual Easter egg hunt will be held at 11 a.m. today at Calvary United Church of Christ, 1231 Route 100. Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian
Phoenixville: Easter Services for Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, 301 Fairview St., will begin at 10:30 a.m. with the procession and Resurrection Matins followed by the Liturgy. There will be blessing of Easter Food Baskets outside on the lawn after the Liturgy followed by an Easter Egg Hunt.
Shepherd of the Hills
Bechtelsville: Easter Sunday worship will be held at 8 and 10:30 a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Church, 527 Hoffmansville Road.
Trinity UCC
Pottstown: Members and friends of Trinity United Church of Christ, 60 N. Hanover St., will enjoy an Easter Brunch between the 8 and 10:15a.m. services. All are welcome. During the Sunday School hour, the children will participate in a “Jesus Hunt.” Prizes and Easter treats will be discovered during the hunt. Holy Communion will be offered at both services on Sunday.
St. Luke Lutheran
Gilbertsville: The annual Easter Egg Hunt begins at 11 a.m. today at St. Luke Lutheran Church. Easter Day services will be held at 7:30 and 10:15 a.m. with Holy Communion. The Handbell Choir will play at 7:30 a.m., and the Sr. Choir and Cherub Choir will sing at the 10:15 a.m. service. The Easter Breakfast, sponsored by the St. Luke Softball Team, will be held in Memorial Hall at 9 a.m. The Community Clothing Rack will be open from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday for distribution of clothing.
First UCC
Royersford: Special music will be sung during the 11 a.m. worship on Easter Sunday at First United Church of Christ, 367 Washington St., and Holy Communion will be celebrated. Pastor Roth will share “Easter egg messages” with the children. Carol Hanebury will lead the choir.
Coventryville UMC
Pottstown: A free Breakfast will be hosted at 9 a.m. today followed by the annual Egg Hunt at 10 a.m. at Coventryville United Methodist Church, 1521 Old Ridge Road. A prayer vigil will be held from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. On Easter Sunday the Sunrise Service will be held at 7 a.m. followed by an Easter Breakfast at 8 a.m. Easter Worship will be at 10a.m.
Shenkel UCC
North Coventry: The Easter Community Sunrise Service will take place at 6:30 a.m. in the field across from Temple United Methodist Church at the intersection of Temple and Unionville Road. This service will be celebrated with Temple UMC and Cedarville UMC. The usual 8:30 a.m. Prayer service and The Gathering at 9:30 a.m. (which includes the final part of the Easter Cantata) will be held at Shenkel United Church of Christ, 1580 Shenkel Road, and a light Easter brunch will follow the worship. Communion will be served at both services
St. Paul’s UCC
Pottstown: The Annual Easter Egg Hunt open to children and youth up to 6th grade will be held today at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 927 N. Franklin St. Meet in Fellowship Hall at 10 a.m. to hear the Easter Story and then the hunt begins outside (inside if needed). Easter morning worship service at 9 a.m. will include song and praise, and the sacrament of Holy Communion. The church will prepare and serve the Community Meal on Thursday at First Presbyterian Church.
East Vincent UCC
Spring City: The Resurrection will be celebrated at the 9 a.m. worship service on Sunday at East Vincent United Church of Christ, 282 Hill Church Road, with Holy Communion.
St. Peter’s Lutheran
Pottstown: Easter Sunday will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 574 Glasgow St., with anthems by the Youth and Senior Choirs, Trumpet playing by Frank Mann IV, display of an altar Lily Cross, and the ministration of Holy Communion at the 8 and 10:30 a.m. services. The Seniors Luncheon will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday at Gramia’s Restaurant, Boyertown.
St. John’s UCC
Pottstown: The Education Committee will host the annual Eggstravaganza beginning at noon today at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 11 S. Price St. Easter will be celebrated with Holy Communion at the 10:15 a.m. service. Sunday will be the last day to donate food items for Operation BackPack.
Mount Carmel UMC
St. Peters: A Men’s Fellowship Breakfast will be held at 8 a.m. today at Mount Carmel United Methodist Church, 2203 Harmonyville Road. The Sunday School Easter Egg Hunt is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. today at Zion’s United Church of Christ, Hanover and Chestnut streets, beginning with a pancake and sausage breakfast followed by the hunt and a craft time. The Sunday School Easter program from 9 to 10 a.m. will feature a modern drama of the events of Holy Week with an intergenerational cast and songs by the children. The Easter service will be celebrated at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday. Flowers in honor and memory of family and friends will grace the sanctuary. The Women’s Fellowship Annual Banquet will be May 2 at 6 p.m. in the Chapel Building. Deadline for reservations is Sunday, April 23.
First Baptist
Pottstown: The Board of Christian Education is sponsoring an Easter Egg Hunt from 10 to 11:30 a.m. today at First Baptist Church, 301 King St. There will be crafts and games in addition to the egg hunt. There will be an Easter brunch at 10 a.m. on Easter Sunday before the Service. A concert to raise needed funds for the church’s tower demolition will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 23, at the church. Refreshments will follow. Tickets are $25 for adults, children are free. Pottstown: The Resurrection of Jesus Christ will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday at Bethel Community Church of Pottstown, 575 N. Keim St. The Men of Valor will lead in worship and the Choir will be singing.

Spring City: The Easter Service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Brownback’s United Church of Christ, 640 Ridge Road, with Holy Communion, and special music will be provided by the Worship Ensemble and Adult Handbell Choir.
St. Matthews UCC
Chester Springs: The annual Community Easter Egg hunt will be held at 1 p.m. today at St. Matthews United Church of Christ, 2350 Conestoga Road (Route 401). All are welcome. Easter Sunrise Service will be held at 7 a.m. on the hill in the cemetery. Breakfast is served at 7:30 a.m. immediately after the Sunrise Service in the Rose Room on the first floor of the Church.
