Wayne H. Rubright, 69, of Reading

Wayne H. Rubright, 69, of Reading, PA, husband of Colleen L. “Connie” (Dilliplaine) Rubright, died Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Lankeneau Medical Center.

Born in Pottstown, PA, he was a son of the late Harold J. Rubright and the late Miriam (Fisher) Rubright Biehl.

Wayne was a graduate of Pottstown High School and received an associates degree at Montgomery County Community College in accounting. He was employed by Boyertown Foundry in the shipping and receiving department. He was a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church and the Elks Lodge #814 Pottstown. Wayne volunteered at the Boyertown Auto Museum and the Pottstown Senior Center, where he organized trips. He was also a member of the Pottstown Aircraft Owners & Pilots club.

Surviving, in addition to his wife of 47 years, is one daughter, Stacey L., wife of Andrew Adams, Boyertown; brothers, Harold Rubright his wife Vikki, Bechtelsville, Mark Rubright, Royersford, Joseph Toth his wife Sharon, Boyertown, and Steven Toth his wife Willa, Gilbertsville; sister Debbie, wife of Donald Moyer, Pottstown; and three grandchildren, Brenden M., Alyssa M. and Joshua S. Adams.

Services by Elks Lodge #814 will be held 11:00 am on Friday, June 23, 2017, and immediately followed by a memorial service at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. Officiating will be the Rev. Phillip Waselik. Burial will be held at Highland Memorial Park, Pottstown. Relatives and friends may call from 10:00 am until 11:00 am on Friday June 23, 2017 at the funeral home.
