Miriam E. Schwoyer, 92, of Pottstown

Miriam E. “Mim” (Lebo) Schwoyer, 92, of Pottstown, wife of the late Grier F. Schwoyer, passed away on Thursday, July 13 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, with whom she resided.

Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Warren F. and Miriam (Shunk) Lebo.

Throughout her life, Miriam loved to cook, sew, watch the Phillies and spend time with her family, who loved her dearly. She was always included in birthdays, holidays and even family vacations to Ocean City, NJ. Miriam was a member of Zion’s UCC Church in Pottstown.

Surviving are her daughter, Denise Strunk, wife of Jay; and son, Jory Schwoyer, husband of Dorothy. She is also survived by four grandsons, Ryan Strunk, husband of Amy; Jason Strunk, husband of Nicole; Greg West, husband of Terri; and Drew Schwoyer, husband of Desiree; and eleven great grandchildren, Dylan and Zachary Strunk; Cole, Jaina, Rylie, and Isabella Strunk; Amber and Jessica West; and Annison, Raylyn and Colton Schwoyer.

Along with her husband and parents, Miriam is predeceased by her son, Gregg Schwoyer, and her sister, Vera (Lebo) Schlegel.

A visitation will be held Monday, July 17 from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown, followed by a memorial service at 6 p.m. Burial will be private and at a later date.
