Judith “Judi” A. (Rouze) Thompson, 53, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 surrounded by her loving family and friends at her home in Pottstown. She was the wife of William “Bill” Thompson III, with whom she shared 17 years of marriage.

Born in Trenton, NJ in October 1964, Judi was the daughter of Helen (Hedderick) Rouze and the late Alan Rouze.

Judi loved expressing herself through music and writing. She met Bill while singing at church, an activity they shared through most of their time together. Judi also enjoyed creative writing, an activity she loosely defined to include everything from inspiring tales taken from her own experience­s to helping people create their personal brands.

More than anything Judi lived to help others, and to bring people together. Her circle of friends was large and varied. Her family takes great comfort in knowing that she touched so many.

In addition to her husband and mother, Judi is survived by her four children, Erin Judith Russell, William S. Thompson IV;, Sydney C. Thompson and Kenna B. Thompson; one granddaugh­ter, Everly Rose Mongiello, and her father, Michael Mongiello; four brothers, Alan Rouze Jr., husband of Susan, Chesterfie­ld, VA, David R. Rouze, husband of Katherine, Nashville, TN, Brian Rouze, husband of Cindy, Placentia, CA, and Donald Rouze, husband of Suzanne, Saukville, WI; nephew and niece Stephan and Heather Rouze and their children, Chloe, Molly, Tristan, and Sierra; nephew and niece Christophe­r and Jamelyn and their children Mikayla, Luke, Olivia, and Theodore; motherin-law, Eleanor Thompson, West Chester, PA; brother-in-law Jim Thompson, husband of Pam, Pittsburgh, PA; brother-in-law Ray Thompson, husband of Nancy, Chester Heights, PA. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Calling hours will take place on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc., 955 N. Charlotte St., Pottstown, PA 19464 and on Saturday, November 18, 2017 from 9:30 – 11:00 am at Saint Aloysius Church, 223 Beech St., Pottstown, PA 19464. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am. Inurnment will be private and held at the convenienc­e of the family. Houck & Gofus Funeral Home, Inc. will be handling the arrangemen­ts.
