Arland M. McMullen Jr., 55

Arland M. McMullen Jr., 55, of 614 North Flagship Drive, Salem, SC, longtime companion of, Eliana Peck, of 3815 Walnut Grove Way, Gainesville, GA, passed away, Monday, December 4, 2017, at his home.

A native of Birdsboro, PA, Mr. McMullen was the son of Arland McMullen Sr. and the late Yvonne Roman. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and later retired from Sawtek Incorporated as the Director of Assembly Operations for the Orlando, FL and Costa Rica Plants. He served as President of the Keowee Key Property Owners Association and the Board of Directors. Mr. McMullen was an active board member of Les Marmitons, volunteered with Hospice of the Foothills and participated in Small Business Association Counseling. He was President of the Keowee Key Wine Appreciation Club, founder of the Booze and Beyond Club of Keowee Key and also volunteered in numerous committees in Oconee County and Keowee Key. Mr. McMullen attended St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church.

In addition to his father and longtime companion, Mr. McMullen is survived by his daughter: Miranda Anderson of Taylors, SC; brother: Matthew McMullen of Las Vegas, NV; sisters: Jackie and Beth Seasholtz both of PA; and three grandchildren: Rebekah Hope Anderson, Ronnie William Anderson and Rachel Grace Anderson all of Taylors, SC.

A private family service will be held. A public celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.

The family is at their respective homes.
