Jane Louise Reichard, 81, of Crown Point, IN

Jane Louise Reichard, 81, of Crown Point, IN, wife of Robert W. Reichard (deceased), passed away on Monday evening, December 4, 2017 at St. Anthony’s Hospital. Born in Bethlehem, PA, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Edna (Long) Young.

Jane was a member of Valley Forge Baptist Temple, where she was active in the Senior Saints Adult Bible Fellowship and had previously attended Limerick Chapel.

Jane was a great mom, wife and home maker. She worked at Limerick Township as a book keeper until she retired. Jane loved and served her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She loved to spoil her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her passion was to serve others. She loved to cook, bake and make quilts.

Mrs. Reichard is survived by her children: Joyce, wife of Richard West, of Crown Point, IN, Lawrence, husband of Diane Reichard, of Mechanicsville, MD and Rob, husband of Daphne Reichard, of Greenville, SC; fourteen grandchildren: Kelsey, Joshua, Nathan, Wil, Adriana, and Elise Reichard, Brittani Benefield, Carissa Alcivar, Sarah Olsen, Amy Martin, Katelynn Rawlins and Rick, Scott and Kyle West; and three greatgrandchildren: Gavin, Liam and Elena Martin. She was preceded in death by her sister, Mildred McGouldrick.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service at Valley Forge Baptist, 616 S. Trappe Road, Collegeville, on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be the Rev. Scott E. Wendal. Interment will follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Friends will be received from 9:00 - 11:00 am at the Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Women’s Center of Northwest Indiana (www.friendsofthewc.org.) Arrangements are being handled by the Cattermole - Klotzbach Funeral Home.
