Strechay leads Perk Valley past Kennett

Tyler Strechay scored a gamehigh 33 points to lead the Perkiomen Valley boys basketball team to a 62-58 win over the Kennett during the Phoenixvil­le Tip-Off Tournament on Saturday.

Strechay knocked down a pair of 3-pointers and finished 7-for-8 from the foul line while Dante Graves followed with 12 for the Vikings. Perk Valley (2-0) used a 16-4 advantage in the fourth quarter to close it out.
