Thomas C. Yarnall, 79, of Gilbertsville

Thomas C. Yarnall, 79, of Gilbertsville, husband of Joan B. (Beehler) Yarnall, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017 at the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center.

Born in Upland, Pa., he was a son of the late Mary (Geisinger) and Charles A. Yarnall.

Thomas attended the Williamson School of Trade for carpentry and worked in the profession for many years. Later he worked as a pork producer for over 50 years.

He was a member of the Sanatoga No. 25 Grange in Pottstown for 65 years. He also attended the Mingo Church of the Brethren and was a past treasurer for the Sunday school.

Thomas is survived by his children, Jane E., wife of Robert Kline of Boyertown, Carole J., wife of Thomas Wynne of Gilbertsville, and Kathryn A., wife of Thomas DiGuiseppe of Bechtelsville; a foster son, Robert G. Barskey of Temple; siblings, Glenn A. Yarnall, Mark W. Yarnall and Sara L. Armstrong. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at the Church of the Brethren, 1202 South Township Line Rd., Royersford, on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2017 at 11 a.m. Family and friends may call at the Funeral Home, Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and on Thursday at church from 10 to 11 a.m.

Interment will be in the church cemetery.
