Silvia’s Gymnastics shines in Columbus, Ohio meet

Silvia’s Gymnastics level 9 and 10 gymnasts team competed in the Arnold Gymnastic Challenge during the Arnold Sports Festival, hosted by Gahanna Cyclone Gymnastics, in Columbus, Ohio last weekend on Friday, March 2 — Saturday, March 4, 2018.

JUNIOR A » Marissa Leamy placed first on bars and floor, second on vault, and fourth AA. JUNIOR B » Maxine Kuhl placed second on vault, fifth on floor, and sixth on beam. JUNIOR C » Kailey Ferri placed first on vault, second on floor and AA, third on beam, and fifth on bars. Kailey Ferri qualified for the vault event finals; Abby Chesshire placed third on floor and AA, and fourth on vault and beam. SENIOR A » Sophie Rocereta placed first on floor and fifth on vault; Taylor Johnson placed second on floor. SENIOR B » Kayla Staquet placed second on vault, third on beam and floor; Sarah Loughery placed fifth on floor.

Silvia’s level 9 team placed third. JUNIOR A » Olivia Van Horn tied for first AA, placed second overall on vault and floor, third on beam; Abby Royer placed sixth overall on bars. JUNIOR C » Kendall Whitman placed first on vault, floor, and AA, second on bars, tied for fourth on beam. SENIOR A » Olivia Casey placed third on beam and sixth on vault. SENIOR B » Hailey Lui placed first on beam, tied for second on floor, and fourth on vault; Emily Wojcik placed fifth on floor and AA, sixth on bars and tied for sixth on beam.
