Spring City: A Craft Show will be held from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. today in Fellowship Hall at Bethel United Methodist Church, 952 Bethel Church Road. Healthy Eating with nutritioni­st Jessica Moyer will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday in the Cafe.

Barto: A Chicken Pot Pie Dinner will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Calvary United Church of Christ, 1231 Route 100. Menu includes homemade chicken pot pie, green beans, corn, chow-chow, applesauce, rolls, coffee, ice tea, home baked desserts. Cost is Adults $10, Children (6 to 12) $5. Dine in only. The weekly Lenten service will be held at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Everyone is welcome.

Phoenixvil­le: The Lenten Service hosted by The East Coventry Union of Churches will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday at St. Vincent United Church of Christ, 37 Ridge Road. Host Pastor Rev. Susan Hanson. Pastor Jacqueline Hines will preach.

First Presbyteri­an

Pottstown: Purchase tickets and join First Presbyteri­an Church at Steel River Theatre for the 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday of “To Kill A Mockingbir­d.” The performanc­e will be followed by a facilitate­d discussion with the cast. A Service for Wholeness will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday. Jeannette Feroe will be speaking.

Christ Lutheran Barto: The mid-week Lenten service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the parlor at Christ Lutheran Church, 222 Niantic Road.

Obelisk: The Praise Service led by the Praise Band, Messenger, will be held in the Fellowship Hall at 10:15 a.m. on Sunday at Saint Luke’s Lutheran Church, Route 73 and Neiffer Road. A mid-week Lenten service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday in the church.

First UCC

Royersford: There will be a National Night Out planning meeting at 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the Social Hall at First United Church of Christ, 367 Washington St. St. James Lutheran

Limerick: Clothes and household items can be dropped off at St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Road, today from 10 a.m. to noon and Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon. The “Fund Drive Savers” is organized by the youth of the church to earn money which will help pay for 19 youth to attend the National Youth Gathering in Houston in June. Boy Scouts of Troop 230 will serve a dinner at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Devotions, discussion and music will be part of the Lenten service.

Trinity UCC

Pottstown: An “All-YouCan-Eat” Pancake Breakfast will be sponsored by Trinity United Church of Christ, 60 N. Hanover St., from 8 to 10 a.m. today at Applebee’s, 833 N. State St. Items included are pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee. Tickets are available at the door.

Grace Lutheran

Pottstown: Pastor Donna M. Wright will be welcomed as Interim Pastor at the 9 a.m. service on Sunday at Grace Lutheran Church. A meet-and-greet fellowship hour will be held in the Parish Hall following the service. The brief Said Service at 3 p.m. will be led by Pastor Wright. All are welcome.

St. Luke Lutheran

Gilbertsvi­lle: Church member, Bob Ballantyne, and his son Scott, will present an informativ­e and inspiratio­nal program called “Keysstrong: Concher-ing Irm,” at 7 p.m. tonight at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 35 Wilson Ave. The Ballantyne­s have been fly fishing in the Florida Keys for 16 years, and in January they experience­d the rebuilding of the area following damage created by Hurricane Irma. It will be followed by a time of fellowship and refreshmen­t by Nancy Ballantyne in Memorial Hall. There is no admission fee, but a freewill offering will be collected. Pottstown: Pastor Ross’ birthday will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday at Bethel Community Church of Pottstown, 575 N. Keim St., through a musical featuring “The Provenance Music Group,” Tony Smith, gospel jazz saxophonis­t, Arnetta Morgan, Eric Berkins soloist, Evangelist Minnie Porter and Lois Snead, soloist. A birthday reception will take place at 1 p.m. and in lieu of a gift, donations are requested in support of the church’s Mortgage Fund.

Pottstown: A Music Committee has been working for a few months to coordinate the music for the Worship service and other services through Lent at First Baptist Church, 301 King St. Lenten studies are being held on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.

Second Baptist

Pottstown: The Celebratio­n Male Chorus from Richmond, Va., (an amazing group of 70 men singing four-part harmony) will be in concert at 7 p.m. tonight at Second Baptist Church, 507 N. Adams St. All are invited. They have performed for “The Today Show,” the White House and with The Richmond Symphony. A free will offering will be taken.

St. Peter’s Lutheran

Pottstown: Youth Sunday will be celebrated at the 8 and 10:30 a.m. worship services at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 564 Glasgow St. The youth will present at both services a drama entitled “Who Is Jesus” under the direction of Tara Cusick and Cindy Clouser. The youth choir will singing in addition to assisting with various duties during the worship services. Participan­ts are John Boalton, Brianna Cusick, Jaycee Gladden, Aayla Hofer, AJ Hofer, Katlyn Levengood, Frankie Mann 6th, Rylee Mann and Luisa Rogacion. Sunday is the last day to order Easter Flowers that will be displayed on Easter Sunday. Wednesday will be the last Lenten worship service for the theme “Thy Will Be Done – God’s Will and My Worldview” at 7:30 p.m. Litany service, scripture readings, monolog reading in the role of Paul, choir anthem and Lenten hymns. The Senior luncheon will be at Vincenzo’s Ristorante in Douglassvi­lle on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.

St. John’s Lutheran Phoenixvil­le: Singers are invited to join in the annual “St. John’s Choir

and Friends” concert on Sunday, May 6, at 7 p.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 355 St. John’s Circle. Entitled “Christmas in May” this year’s program includes both sacred and secular selections including a set of Four Appalachia­n Carols set for brass quintet and choir and audience favorites Jingle Bells, Nuttin’ For Christmas, and The Twelve Days After Christmas. Rehearsals for the concert are scheduled at St. John’s on Sundays March 25, April 8, 15, 22, and 29 from 7 to 9 p.m.; and Sunday May 6, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. A light supper will follow the May 6 rehearsal. Zion’s UCC

Pottstown: A Game Night will be hosted on Sunday at Zion’s United Church of Christ, Hanover and Chestnut streets. It will start with an Italian dinner at 5:30 p.m. followed by an evening of fun and fellowship. Bring your favorite card or board game. Pastor Austin will have the ping pong table ready to go. Easter flower orders are due by Sunday. The Lenten Bible Study at Trinity UCC will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday. Church volunteers will prepare and serve the community meal at noon on Friday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church.
