Isaac Phinnessee Jr., 69, of Spring City

Isaac “Ike” Phinnessee Jr. age 69, husband of Sheena Key-Phinnessee, of Spring City, Pennsylvania, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in Phoenixville Hospital.

Born on January 26, 1949 in Hickory Valley, Tennessee, he was a son of the late Isaac Sr. and Ruby Lee (Johnson) Phinnessee. Ike worked as a Slate Roofer for many years before retiring.

Mr. Phinnessee was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Pottstown, active with the prison ministry and had a love of abstact drawing, having completed over 200 pictures.

Ike is also survived by Daughter, Julie Crider of Cleveland, OH; Two Sons, Isaac Phinnessee, III of Cleveland, OH, Jacob Phinnessee of Phoenixville, PA; Two Sisters, Liddle Watkins of Rockford, IL and Virginia Jones of Memphis, TN; and many grandchildren and greatgranchildren. He was also pre-deceased by Sisters: Enda Lewis, Ruby Armour, and Samella Jones.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Ceremony at Calvary Baptist Church of Pottstown, 2096 New Schuylkill Road, Pottstown, Pennsylvania on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Rev. James L. Spears. Burial will be held in the Morris Cemetery, Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Friends will be received from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Wednesday at the church.
