Road restrictions planned in Montco, Chesco
Travel restrictions are scheduled on several state highways in Montgomery and Chester counties this week for for maintenance operations, PennDOT announced. The work schedule is: • Monday, May 7, through Wednesday, May 9, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Route 73 (Big Road) is scheduled to close between Route 663 (Layfield Road) and Hoffmansville Road in New Hanover Township, Montgomery County, for base repair. During the closure, Route 73 (Big Road) motorists will be detoured over Route 663 (Layfield Road) and Hoffmansville Road;
• Monday, May 7, through Thursday, May 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled on Route 322 (Horseshoe Pike) between Boot Road and Copeland School Road in East Bradford Township, Chester County, for crack sealing; and
• Wednesday, May 9, through Friday, May 11, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Keim Street is scheduled to close between Buchert Road and Route 663 (Charlotte Street) in Pottsgrove Township, Montgomery County, for base repair. During the closure, Keim Street motorists will be detoured over Route 663 (Charlotte Street), Mervine Street, North Washington Street and Buchert Road.
