St. Aloysius Parish School students celebrate Heritage Day

LOWER POTTSGROVE » Students at St. Aloysius Parish School were celebrating diversity Wednesday with their annual heritage celebration.

Students at the school spent time researching their own heritages and learning about their genealogy. With the help of their families, students learned about various cultures and came to school ready to discuss their own. Many students dressed in attire that represented their heritage and took part in teaching other students about it.

The day culminated with a buffet for lunch that featured food from different cultures as well as performances of various dances and songs by students.

MARIAN DENNIS – DIGITAL FIRST MEDIA Students enjoyed dancing the Polka Wednesday for other students in the school as they celebrated Heritage Day. Students were permitted to dress in attire representing their personal heritages after researching their genealogy.
