G. Donald Driesbach

G. Donald Driesbach, 85, longtime companion of Joan M. (Lovett) Hartzell, Lower Providence Twp., died Sunday, May 13, 2018, in Seasons Hospice At Phoenixville Hospital.

Don was born on July 28, 1932, in Philadelphia. He was the only child of the late George W. and Emma M. (Watson) Driesbach.

Don was a retired machinist. He worked with his father in their Oreland machine shop and later for Streamlight Corp., Lower Providence Twp.

Don collected antique autos and motorcycles. He was a member of several antique auto clubs and enjoyed participating in shows and tours.

In addition to his companion Joan, Don is survived by her children, Margaret Betz, Eileen, wife of John Stiefel, and Joseph, II, husband of Karen (Parsons) Hartzell; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are private with burial in Washington Memorial Chapel Cemetery, Valley Forge Park.

Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Arrangements are by Holcombe Funeral Home, Inc., Trappe.
