Elizabeth ‘Liz’ C. Yeager

Elizabeth “Liz” C. (Weissinger) Yeager, 82, of Douglass Twp., Boyertown, wife of John W. Yeager Sr., died Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at her home while holding her husbands hand.

Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Herman C. and Mary (Miller) Weissinger. Mrs. Yeager was employed by the former Bradley’s Department Store, Pottstown working in the stock room. She loved to play tennis, watch birds, play bingo, and go to auctions.

Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, John W. Yeager Jr., (Cindy), Mohnton; Robert Yeager, Boyertown; three daughters, Ellen Weaver, (George), Stowe; Lorraine Pileggi, (Joe) Mobile, AL; Elizabeth “Betty” Yeager, Boyertown; two brothers, Frank Weissinger, (Theresa), Philadelphia; Bobby Weissinger, NJ; four sisters, Mary Haubrick, Havertown; Irene Everham, NJ; Doris Velos, NJ; Rosemarie Fillano, Havertown; ten grandchildren and many great grandchildren. She was predeceased by brothers, Charles, William and Harry Weissinger, sister Joan, and granddaughter, Renee Garner.

Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am on Monday May 21, 2018 at the Schumacher & Benner Funeral Home & Crematory, 359 King St., Pottstown. There will be a Viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 am on Monday at the funeral home.
