Boy­er­town’s Amer­i­can Le­gion base­ball team did all its scor­ing Wed­nes­day in its first at-bat. That pro­duc­tion proved suf­fi­cient to give it a 4-1 tri­umph over Shilling­ton in Berks County League play.

Stephen Cisik rode the early scor­ing to vic­tory, pitch­ing 4-1/3 in­nings of four-hit, four-strike­out ball be­fore A.J. Kline fin­ished up with one-hit shutout re­lief. Billy Coleman (2-for-3) led the of­fense by col­lect­ing Boy­er­town’s lone RBI while Tate Yergey, Nick DiCi­acco, Nolan Kline and Caleb Har­ri­son scored runs. NORCHESTER 1, EX­ETER 0 » Austin Odell didn’t al­low a sin­gle run as the Bull­dogs edged the Ea­gles in Berks County League play.

Odell al­lowed just four hits in his com­plete-game mound stint, strik­ing out seven along the way. Austyn Le­ven­good, Ethan An­dresen, Jack McLaugh­lin, Odell, Jake Iy­oob and Jack Rine­himer each col­lected hits to lead NorChester at the plate. PERKIOMEN POST 4, HAT­FIELD 2 » Justin Worn­ham and Bryan Pi­janowski were the hit­ting stars for Perkiomen as it used a two-run fifth to se­cure its mar­gin of vic­tory over Hat field Tow am enc in in Bu x-Mont League play.

Worn­ham drove in two of Perkiomen’s runs while Bryan Pi­janowski (2-for-4) added a third in the vic­tory. Trey Liv­ing­tone, the third of four Perkiomen pitch­ers see­ing ac­tion on the game, picked up the win af­ter Worn­ham fin­ished up with two in­nings of no-hit re­lief on the mound.

BEAR-CUBS 16, DANIEL BOONE 6 » The Boy­er­town Bear-Cubs re­sponded to Tues­day’s loss to Boone in a big way, dis­patch­ing their Berks County League hosts.

Trey Ye­sav­age col­lected three hits and six RBI for Boy­er­town (8-2, 12-3-1), which got four hits and three RBI from Tan­ner McCaf­ferty. Tre Diguglielmo chipped in with three hits and three RBI, and Sam Legerton with two hits and two RBI, to make a win­ner of Colin Eisen­hard.
