Kenneth Charles Weaver of Pughtown

Kenneth Charles Weaver, age 76, of Pughtown, PA, passed away Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at his home.

He was the husband of Barbara A. (Owen) Weaver, whom he married on January 22, 1966.

Born on October 22, 1941 in Wilkes Barre, PA, he was a son of the late George and Lillian (Buckworth) Weaver.

He was a graduate of North Penn High School in 1959.

Mr. Weaver then served for 5 years in the Navy as a Sonar Technician, lastly at Pt. Magu Naval Facility before being honorably discharged.

Kenneth then graduated from West Chester with a degree in Special Education and from Millersville University with a degree in Psychology.

He worked for 30 years as a School Psychologist for Chester County Intermediate Unit until retiring in 1994.

Mr. Weaver enjoyed antique collecting, especially carousel animals. He also loved horticulture, traveling and classic cars.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by Brother, Richard G., husband of Dietta Weaver of Pottstown; Nephew, R. Matthew, husband of Trish Weaver; Three Nieces: Amy Lynne, wife of Kory Parsia, Sarah Beth, wife of Paul Black, and Kimberly Roberts and a Sister-in-Law, Mary “Jackie” Haslam. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
