Emma Marie Bradley of Pottstown
Emma Marie (Bowman) Bradley, 92, of Pottstown, wife of the late Benjamin Bradley, passed away Wednesday August 1, 2018 at Manatawny Manor.
Born in Pottstown, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Emma (Clayberger) Bowman. Emma was a member of St. Aloysius Church in Pottstown, where she also attended grade school, before graduating from Pottstown High School, with the class of 1944. She worked in Pottstown at the New York Store and Zipf’s Candy.
Surviving are two daughters Susan M. Trout wife of Paul of Elverson, and Patricia A. Savastana wife of Nicholas of Pottstown; five grandchildren P. Gregory Trout, Benjamin Trout, Nicole Varady, Matthew Trout, and Elizabeth Savastana; and seven great grandchildren. Along with her husband and parents, Emma was predeceased by five brothers and two sisters.
A Funeral Mass will be held Monday, August 6, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas More, 2101 Pottstown Pike, Pottstown, PA 19465, with Fr. Edward Brady officiating. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park Mausoleum, Pottstown. Visitation will be held Monday from 9:30-10:45 AM at the church. Catagnus Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Inc., 711 N. Franklin St., Pottstown is in charge of arrangements.
