Lucy A. Alexander of Pottstown

Lucy A. (Morgan) Alexander, 87, of Pottstown, Lower Pottsgrove Twp., wife of the late Robert C. Alexander, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 19, at Phoenixville Hospital.

Born in Harmonville and formerly of Schwenksville, she was the daughter of the late James and Tacie (Lentz) Morgan. Lucy was a graduate of Conshohocken High School where she was a member of the National Honor Society.

Lucy attended Berean Bible Church for 24 years.

She worked full-time as a bookkeeper for 20 years. After retirement she worked part-time as a receptionist at Sanatoga Ridge Community for 18 years. She enjoyed the many friendships she made there and always welcomed new residents with a smile and helping hand. She also enjoyed reading.

Surviving are children Lucy Ann Centafont, wife of Richard; Patricia J. Katz, wife of Rodney; Richard C. Alexander, husband of Irma; Cathy A. Smith, wife of Norman; and Ronald C. Alexander, husband of Kimberly; brother W. Kenneth Morgan, husband of Janice; 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 greatgreat grandchildren. She is also predeceased by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

A funeral service will be Saturday, Aug. 25, 11:00 AM at Berean Bible Church, 2675 E. High Street, #1, Pottstown, PA 19464. Burial will follow in Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lucy’s name to Berean Bible Church at the above address.
