Virginia M. Hoffman of Frederick

Virginia M. Hoffman, 92, of Frederick, wife of the late Daniel S. Hoffman, passed away Tuesday, August 21, 2018 at Frederick Living.

Born in Kenilworth, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Ella (Miller) Koch.

Virginia was a very active member in Christ Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, playing cards, and cherished spending time with friends and family. She also loved traveling the world with her friends and family. Virginia volunteered for Meals on Wheels.

Surviving are daughters Kay Barr, wife of James, and Pat Moyer, wife of Michael; daughter-in-law Linda M. Hoffman; brothers Willard Koch and Gerald Koch; sisters Grace Stauffer and Jeanette Yoder; Grandchildren Brian Barr, Steven Barr, Travis Hoffman, Tammy-Lynn Hartline-Doyle, Christopher Moyer, and Melissa Elison; Great grandchildren Alyssa, Emily, Stella, Tyler, Trevor, Teryn, Trey, Talie, Daniel, Connor, Gavin, Alex, Ben, and Allie. She is predeceased by her son Eugene D. Hoffman and her brother Lester Koch.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church at Niantic. Burial will follow at Christ Union Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:30-11:00 A.M. at the church.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Memorial Fund at Christ Lutheran Church 222 Niantic Rd., Barto, PA 19504.
