New Fitness Programs Are In Full Swing!
PiYo™
Piyo™ is a class that combines Yoga poses with mat exercises to build CORE strength and enhance agility and balance. Piyo™ is a faster paced class then Gentle Yoga and provides a moderately challenging workout similar to Vinyasa (Flow- Style) Yoga. Short bursts of cardiovascular work and strength training for all over body conditioning.
If you are looking for a fitness challenge or a new fitness journey, this may be the class to try! All you need to bring is an open mind and a Yoga mat.
Classes are Friday at 9:15 & Thursday at 12:45. Both classes are 45 minutes. Cost: $1
“Super Senior Fit”
Wednesday afternoons we welcome Mihae Blank to our fitness program staff. Mihae is teaching a class called “Super Senior Fit.” This class focus is on balance, stretching and strength training. All fitness levels are welcome to attend. Class is Wednesday at 2:00. This class is a 45 minute session. Cost: $1
Zumba with Liz
Join Liz Smith as she brings another level of exercise to our ever growing programs. Liz is incorporating a Zumba class with low impact dance exercise. Class will meet on Thursday’s at 11:00. Cost: $2
Pilates
Pilates will work to balance all muscle groups’ strength and flexibility, with an emphasis on challenging the core muscles with each movement. This class will blend the Classical Pilates Method with exercise variations and by using props and light weights. Modifications are suggested for beginners or for those with physical limitations. Pilates mat is a challenging yet safe method to sculpt your body and to feel increased agility in your everyday movements.
Beginning October 4th join Linda Startzel at 9:00 Thursday mornings. Cost: $2
