If he had run as a Democrat and won, do you think he would be saying the same things about the Republicans as he is saying about the Democrats? Absolutely. He just cares about his agenda to make himself richer and in the spotlight. The problem he has now is he got caught with cheating on back taxes. Remember that’s how they got Al Capone. —DP

At a recent rally our president actually ridiculed a victim of sexual assault. The people at the rally laughed and cheered. Enough said. —Steve Nissle Wake up people. If you are stopped on Sunnybrook Road for a red traffic light and there’s no traffic coming westbound on High Street, you are allowed to make a right hand turn onto High Street. Stop holding up traffic.

Now that Kavanaugh is in heads are going to roll. FISA and other classified documents should be released and 57,000 indictments may be unsealed.

Responding to One Who Listens, you claim that President Trump was found guilty of tax fraud in his early career. Well for one who listens you don’t listen too well because if you get to the end of the New York Times article it clearly states that no laws were broken and no IRS regulations were neglected. So for one who listens you’re not doing too good of a job there buddy.

The country is divided, surely not the first time. Abraham Lincoln led us out of that disastrous time. FDR and his fireside chats helped sooth the worried nation. The list goes on. We need a leader with empathy and optimism. Donald is a divider. Just listen to him speak to his base. I have faith that someone new will bring us closer, a Republican, Democrat or independent, I don’t care. But someone will emerge. The rule of law and the institutions of our country need to be restored. —Lord Liv

For the first time in the history of our country the U.S. Supreme Court has become a joke. Republicans have installed a drunken frat boy who was also a serial sexual predator all because Trump needs protection from prosecution. The good news is Kavanaugh can be impeached and there is already talk of this after the midterm elections.

The other day I was looking through a collections, etc. catalog and came across a Tshirt called the Beer T. The front has a picture of a beer keg, a bottle of beer and a mug of beer. Across the top it says “The answer is beer.” Underneath the picture it states “Sorry what was the question?” Something for our esteemed Mr. Kavanaugh to wear instead of his robe. —Bob Not From Mont Clare

I vote for both Republicans and Democrats because there are some good ones for both. I vote for both parties but I am very embarrassed of both parties because in my opinion you get rid of one problem, one party wins a situation and then they have to bring a charge on the other party. It’s back and forth. Grow up both parties so we can move forward as a country instead of looking upon all these tit-for-tat situations. Enough’s enough.

If you’re like me you’re probably avoiding the news because it’s either too violent or too disturbing or other reasons. So a nice escape is “A Star Is Born.” It’s out now and in theaters near you and it’s absolutely spectacular. Lady Gaga lives up to all the hype. She’s absolutely mesmerizing. Enjoy.

Fake Democrat? Wow that’s a new one. I saw the hearing too. Democracy? You’ve got to be kidding. The only ones trying to destroy our democracy are the extreme far left Democrats and if you can’t see that, you’re part of the problem. I’m a Democrat staying where I am, not going anywhere, but not voting Democrat.

What about Constand’s payment? She did accept over a $3 million settlement to keep the lid on her incident with Bill Cosby. Immoral of her to accept payment yet still have Bill Cosby charged. Will she share that $3 million-plus jackpot with his other victims? I doubt it. —Chief Wahoo
